The applicant will be recruited for one year. He/She will integrate the FLUIDGOV programme. FLUIDGOV gathers a Swiss-French-Indian team within an EQUIP collaborative project. The French part is funded by ANR. FLUIDGOV aims to compare Ganga’s and Rhone’s hydro-social regimes in the long-term (17thto 21stcenturies).
The University assistant will have to enforce the French historical research of the programme by exploring the city archives of Arles. His or her research will contribute to the analysis of the relations and interactions between the river and the Low Rhone societies. She or he should be familiar with archival research and IT tools. She/he should have interest in environmental and social history, and should be able to integrate a research project team.
